St. Louis Tint Co. installs window film for homes and businesses across St. Louis City and St. Louis County. We handle heat control, low-E, privacy, decorative, UV protection and security film. We work on flat glass only, so we don't tint vehicles.
What we do
Window film fixes a short list of problems that a lot of St. Louis homes and buildings share: rooms that overheat in the afternoon, glare on screens, furniture and floors that fade, windows people can see straight through, and glass that would shatter too easily. We match the right film to each of those problems, install it cleanly and stand behind it.
For homeowners, that's our residential window tinting service. For property managers and business owners, it's commercial window tinting for offices, storefronts, restaurants, clinics and more. We also install specialty films on their own: solar heat control, low-E, privacy, decorative and frosted, security and safety, and UV and fade protection.
How we work
- Listen first. We start with what's bothering you, not with a product. A hot bonus room needs something different than a bathroom window facing the neighbors.
- Check the glass. Glass type, age, size and sun exposure all affect which films are safe and smart to use, especially on dual-pane windows.
- Show, don't tell. We put samples on your windows and walk you through the spec sheet: visible light, solar energy rejected, UV and glare.
- Install with care. We protect your floors and sills, clean the glass thoroughly and trim every edge so the film looks like part of the window.
- Stand behind it. Ask about our lifetime warranty. If something isn't right, call us and we'll make it right.
What we believe about window film
- Darker isn't always better. Many of today's best heat-control films are close to clear. We'll recommend the lightest film that solves your problem.
- Film isn't always the answer. If your windows have failed seals, rot or broken hardware, we'll tell you. Our guide to window film vs. replacement windows explains how to decide.
- You should know what you're buying. A written quote with the specific film named, and the spec sheet to back it up.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you tint vehicles?
No. We install window film on homes, condos, offices, storefronts and other buildings only. We don't tint cars, trucks or any other vehicles.
Do you sell one brand of window film?
We aren't tied to a single product. We choose the film type that fits your glass and your goals, then show you its spec sheet and samples on your own windows before you decide.
Is there a warranty on your work?
Yes. Ask about our lifetime warranty when we give your estimate. Our work is guaranteed to last, and if it doesn't, let us know and we'll make it right.
Do you come to my home or business for the estimate?
Yes. Estimates are free and done on-site, by appointment. We measure every window, check the glass and talk through what you want to fix.
